Andrew Aven is a self-taught visionary artist and musician living in Kingston, NY. He began drawing, painting and sculpting as a child with the encouragement of his mother. In his early teens he also took up the study of music and is currently working towards a degree in music therapy.
He uses a variety of media both traditional and digital, and approaches his art intuitively, allowing it to flow naturally from within. He views art making as central to his own spiritual practice and service, hoping that his work will resonate with something of the divine nature within the hearts of those viewing it, expanding their awareness and experience of the sacredness of life.
